Hello, who are you?

While you are doing some deep soul-searching for the answer to that question, I’ll pass the time by prattling a bit about me.

The boring biographical details are that I’m a girl about to teeter into her 30s, which means I might have to be a woman soon. I am from the UK, but I’m gadding about a bit at the moment, so who knows where I am.

I enjoy many refined topics of conversation, such as robots, lesbians, lesbian robots, computer games of the 1990s, TV programmes with strong female characters, the Eurovision Song Contest, juvenile smut, contemporary art and tennis.

I am always open to chatting about these things, and pretty much anything, so if you have some burning issue you just have to get of your chest to an anonymous internet person, you just go right ahead.

If you can’t think of a burning issue, then maybe you can answer the question of why PCs aren’t beige any more. Remember how they all used to be that terrible beige colour? When did that stop? It was awful, but I kind of miss it.
